An Evolving Company

I think you all deserve to know a little bit more about Nerdgasmic Adventures. Most of you know that I started this business in 2019. What you may not know is that I am completely independent of large corporations. I don’t get paid by them when I create travel plans, group tours or other services that I offer. In order to do what we do, we are paid by you directly. If you have purchased through me, part of your payment was a service fee to Nerdgasmic Adventures.

The biggest reason for this is so that we can create the best individualized plans for you as clients. Large corporations are going to try to push their properties, their airlines and other services. By not being beholden to them I can pick the products/services that best fit what you want to do. We want your trip to be based on freedom to pick the best place, not the one a corporation picks for you.

Here is the bad news. In the past I would create “Proposals” for people without any monetary commitment. This was a good-faith exercise with the hope that clients would appreciate the hours and effort put into the proposal and purchase the trip. This hasn’t worked out. We’ve lost thousands of dollars that we can’t afford to lose as a fledgling company. So we have a new policy. If you want a Travel Plan we will create a “Proposal” after you have paid the fee for it. The Travel Plan isn’t just an itinerary, it is the commitment from us to make all the necessary reservations involved. This can include flights, hotels, transportation, transfers, activity tickets, tours, etc..

As a new company we make mistakes sometimes. We try to change and adapt so that we can survive as a company and provide the best services possible. We are experts at what we do. In an ever changing industry we are constantly studying to be on top of what changes are happening. One thing that won’t change is our commitment to bringing you awesome service that works hard to create the best possible experience for you.
