2026 with Nerdgasmic Adventures
If 2025 was solid, 2026 is next-level.
This isn’t just a year of trips. It’s a year of intention.
Some travel is for exploration.
Some is for professional growth.
Some is for group leadership.
And occasionally, some is for karaoke that never actually happens.
Here’s what’s ahead for Nerdgasmic Adventures in 2026.
🇬🇧 Winter in the UK (Dec 23, 2025 – Jan 11, 2026)
We rang in the year across the United Kingdom.
Southampton. York. Edinburgh. London.
This was winter travel done right — quiet streets, historic pubs, crisp air, and cities that feel older than memory itself. York’s medieval lanes at dawn. Edinburgh’s skyline cutting into the January sky. London walks along the Thames.
Off-season Europe is different. It breathes slower. It feels more local. You hear your footsteps.
And yes — we tried to schedule karaoke.
We failed.
Christmas closures. New Year’s timing. Pub calendars working against us. The universe was not aligned with “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
But here’s the thing — that’s travel.
You adapt. You laugh. You file it away for future redemption.
(And don’t worry — the official Nerdgasmic “Rules of Karaoke” will absolutely return somewhere in 2026.)
🌆 February–March: Dubai & Arabian Gulf Cruise
From cobblestones to skyscrapers.
Late February we head to Dubai — a city that doesn’t do subtle. Skyline ambition. Desert horizons. Traditional abras crossing old waterways while futuristic architecture towers behind them.
Then it’s onto a cruise through the Arabian Gulf — a region many American travelers still hesitate about simply because they haven’t seen it firsthand.
That’s where I come in.
“What’s it really like?”
That’s always the question.
This trip is about answering it honestly.
🇭🇺🇦🇹🇨🇿 Late Spring: Budapest – Vienna – Prague Group Tour
(May 31 – June 11, 2026)
This one is pure European classic.
Budapest’s thermal baths. Vienna’s imperial precision. Prague’s storybook spires.
These cities reward you for slowing down. Café culture. Rail connections. Walkable squares that feel cinematic.
Group tours are where Nerdgasmic Adventures thrives — balancing structure with flexibility, culture with fun, and history without making it feel like a lecture.
And yes — if karaoke opportunities appear in Central Europe, I will be ready.
I have learned from the UK debacle.
🚗 July: The Great American Road Trip
Ohio. St. Louis. Dodge City. Colorado Springs.
Road trips are different. They’re not polished. They’re not curated for Instagram. They’re unpredictable in the best way.
Domestic travel still matters. Small towns matter. Local diners matter. Roadside history markers matter.
This is where real stories happen.
🛳 October: Caribbean Princess Sailing
(Oct 4–11, 2026)
By fall, it’s ocean time.
This Princess sailing isn’t just about relaxation — though that will absolutely happen. It’s about observation.
When I cruise, I’m always evaluating:
Cabin comfort
Dining flow
Entertainment quality
Shore excursion value
Service consistency
Because when clients ask me, “Is this cruise line worth it?” I don’t want to guess.
I want to know.
🛳 November: Avoya Conference at Sea (Host Agency Conference)
This one is big.
In November, I’ll attend my host agency’s annual conference at sea.
Yes, it’s on a cruise ship.
Yes, there will be sunsets.
But this trip is professional development.
This is where I:
Meet directly with cruise line executives
Learn about upcoming promotions before they go public
Discuss air policies and booking strategies
Strengthen supplier relationships
Stay ahead of changes in cancellation rules and inventory trends
If you’ve ever wondered how I stay current on river cruise pricing, Tulip Time demand, group perks, airfare strategy, and limited-time promotions — this is part of it.
I don’t just travel.
I study travel.
So when you book with Nerdgasmic Adventures, you’re getting experience layered with strategy.
🌏 December: Thailand
We close the year in Southeast Asia.
Thailand is energy. Markets. Temples. Street food. Islands. Contrast.
Trips like this stretch you. They remind you the world is layered and complex and vibrant.
And if there happens to be karaoke in Bangkok…
Let’s just say I won’t miss twice.
What 2026 Means for You
None of this travel is random.
Every trip in 2026 serves one of three purposes:
Firsthand destination experience
Refining group travel leadership
Strengthening industry relationships
When you work with Nerdgasmic Adventures, you’re not getting recycled brochure language.
You’re getting real-world testing.
You’re getting honest evaluation.
You’re getting someone who pays attention.
And yes — someone who is still slightly annoyed that karaoke didn’t happen in the UK.
Planning Ahead
One thing I’m seeing clearly: 2026 inventory is moving faster than most people expect.
River cruises. Popular Europe departures. Specialty sailings.
The earlier the plan, the stronger the outcome.
If you’re even thinking about 2026 or 2027 travel, now is the time to start the conversation.
Because great trips don’t just happen.
They’re built.
Stay Adventured,
Kelly Houk
